In the past day, 20 fires have occurred in the ecosystems of the Lviv region, covering an area of over 6 hectares. Firefighters are once again urging people not to burn dry vegetation and to adhere to fire safety rules.
Burning dry grass is not only dangerous but also illegal. Such actions are subject to administrative liability: fines for citizens range from 3,060 to 6,120 hryvnias, and for officials — from 15,300 to 21,420 hryvnias.
Uncontrolled fire spread can quickly extend to residential buildings, farm structures, forests, and other areas, posing a threat to the lives and health of people and animals. Be responsible: do not burn dry grass and do not throw cigarette butts into the grass. In case of a fire, immediately call the Rescue Service on 101.
