
Rescuers report a significant number of grass fires in the Lviv region. In the past 24 hours, 21 incidents have been recorded covering an area of more than 1 hectare. Citizens are urged not to burn dry vegetation and to remember fire safety rules.
Such actions are dangerous and violate the law. Fines for such violations range from 3060 to 6120 hryvnias for citizens and up to 21420 hryvnias for officials.
It is reminded that uncontrolled burning can quickly spread, threatening residential buildings, forests and other infrastructure, and poses a danger to the lives of people and animals.
Please, do not burn dry grass, do not leave cigarette butts in the grass and be responsible. In case of fire, immediately contact the Rescue Service by dialling 101.
