In the Lviv region, police have detained a man suspected of inflicting fatal injuries on a fellow villager.
According to law enforcement, on June 13, a conflict occurred between two local residents in a village in the Lviv district. During the quarrel, a 36-year-old man punched a 54-year-old fellow villager in the head, resulting in severe bodily injuries and the victim’s death.
The crime was solved with the involvement of criminal police operatives, investigators, and other police services in Lviv region. The detainee has been notified of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under part 2 of article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for imprisonment for a term of seven to ten years.
Pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and soon the court will choose a preventive measure for the perpetrator.
