In the Lviv region, law enforcement officers are searching for 77-year-old Yaroslav Kikot from Staryi Sambir, who has been declared missing. According to the police, the man is a former well-known footballer for Karpaty and Shakhtar, and later worked as a youth coach.
Yaroslav Kikot was last seen on 21 July at around 14:20 in the village of Lypnyky, Lviv district. Since then, his whereabouts have been unknown.
Distinguishing features of the missing man: 77 years old, about 175 centimetres tall, of medium build, with short grey hair. He was wearing a dark brown jumper, green trousers and slippers. According to the police, the man may be disoriented and may not remember his place of residence.
Law enforcement officers are asking anyone who has any information about the possible whereabouts of Yaroslav Kikot to call the emergency line 102. The information was released by the Sambir District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region.
