
In the Lviv region, the search continues for 77-year-old Yaroslav Kikot, who is considered missing. According to relatives and law enforcement officers, the man disappeared on 21 July at around 14:20, when he was last seen in the village of Lypnyky in Lviv district.
The missing man is a well-known former footballer for the Karpaty and Shakhtar teams and later worked as a youth coach, having trained more than one generation of footballers. Yaroslav Kikot is a resident of Staryi Sambir.
Officers from Police Department No. 3 of Lviv District Police Department No. 2, the criminal analysis unit of the Lviv region police, staff of the State Emergency Service in Lviv region, dog handlers with service dogs, volunteers and local residents have been involved in the search operation. Quad bikes and drones are being used to survey the area.
According to the latest information from his relatives, Yaroslav Kikot may be in Lviv. CCTV cameras recently recorded a person whose appearance is similar to his.
Description of the missing man: 77 years old, about 175 centimetres tall, of medium build, with short-cropped grey hair. He was wearing a dark brown jumper, green trousers and slippers. The man may be disoriented and may not remember where he lives.
