In Lviv region over the past day, rescuers extinguished 10 fires, including 7 blazes in ecosystems. While tackling the flames, firefighters prevented one building from being destroyed.
According to the emergency services, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness. Rescuers are urging residents of the region not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety rules.
The rescue service stresses that they work around the clock, but the safety of citizens largely depends on their own sense of responsibility.
