In Lviv region, over the past 24 hours, firefighters have extinguished 10 fires, including 5 in natural ecosystems. Firefighters managed to prevent the destruction of two buildings by fire.
According to the available information, the most frequent cause of fires remains human negligence. Rescuers are urging residents of the region not to burn dry grass and to follow fire safety rules.
They emphasise that the emergency services are working around the clock, but safety largely depends on responsible behaviour by the public.
