In Lviv region over the past 24 hours, firefighters have extinguished 10 fires, including 6 blazes in natural ecosystems. While tackling the flames, firefighters prevented one building from being destroyed.
According to available information, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness. Rescuers are urging residents not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety regulations.
The service stresses that SES units are working around the clock, but people’s personal safety largely depends on their own sense of responsibility.
