In Lviv region over the past day, rescuers extinguished 15 fires, including 7 blazes in ecosystems. As a result of one of the fires, two people were injured.
Firefighters prevented the destruction by fire of four buildings. According to available information, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness.
Rescuers urge residents of the region not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety rules, as people's safety and the preservation of property depend on responsible behaviour.
