In Lviv region over the past 24 hours, rescuers have extinguished 18 fires, including 11 blazes in ecosystems. Firefighters prevented the destruction of 6 buildings by fire.
According to available information, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness. Rescuers are urging residents not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety rules.
Emergency services stress that they are working around the clock, but the safety of citizens largely depends on their own responsibility.
