In Lviv region, during the duty period from 25 to 26 August, firefighters were called out to deal with 35 fires of various types.
According to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region, of this number firefighters extinguished 25 blazes in natural ecosystems.
Rescuers stress the need to strictly observe fire safety rules, as most fires and accidents occur due to carelessness and breaches of basic safety requirements.
The State Emergency Service urges citizens to protect their own lives and homes, to look after the safety and health of their loved ones and, in case of danger, to immediately call the rescue service for help.
