In Lviv region, over the past day, rescuers have extinguished 40 fires, of which 27 broke out in natural ecosystems. Thanks to the professional and prompt actions of the firefighters, they managed to prevent three buildings from being destroyed by fire and to rescue one person.
Rescuers are urging residents of the region not to trigger fires in ecosystems: do not burn dry vegetation or rubbish, do not leave open flames unattended and do not discard cigarette ends.
Even a small act of carelessness can cause a large-scale fire and pose a threat to human life.
