In Lviv region over the past day, rescuers have extinguished 10 fires, six of which broke out in the region’s ecosystems. Thanks to the firefighters’ actions, four buildings were saved from being destroyed by the flames.
According to available information, one of the most common causes of fires remains human carelessness. Rescuers stress the need to follow fire safety rules and urge citizens not to burn dry grass.
The rescue service reminds the public that its units operate around the clock, but safety largely depends on the responsible behaviour of local residents.
