In Lviv region over the past day, firefighters have dealt with 12 fires, including three blazes in natural ecosystems. While tackling the flames, crews prevented the destruction of four buildings.
According to available information, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness. Fire and rescue services are urging residents not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety rules.
The rescue service stresses that they operate around the clock, but the safety of the public largely depends on their own sense of responsibility.
