In Lviv region, over the past 24 hours firefighters have dealt with 13 fires, of which 8 broke out in natural ecosystems. Fire crews managed to prevent the destruction by flames of 6 buildings.
According to the available information, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness. Firefighters are urging residents not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety regulations.
The service reminds the public that crews are on duty around the clock, but that individual responsibility on the part of citizens is the key condition for safety.
