In Lviv region over the past day, firefighters have dealt with 7 fires, three of which broke out in ecosystems. While tackling the blazes, firefighters prevented the destruction by fire of two buildings.
According to available information, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness. Fire and rescue services are urging residents of the region not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety rules.
The rescue service stresses that they work around the clock, but that citizens’ personal safety largely depends on their responsible behaviour.
