In the Lviv region over a 24-hour period there were 9 road traffic accidents involving injuries, as a result of which 10 people sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity. This was reported by law enforcement agencies.
The police urge drivers to observe the prescribed speed limits, keep a safe distance and perform predictable manoeuvres on the road.
Law enforcement officers remind motorists of the need to always fasten their seat belts when driving and to pay close attention to the road situation in order to reduce the risk of accidents and their consequences.
