In the Lviv region, four fires broke out over the past 24 hours. Thanks to the swift actions of firefighters, two buildings were saved from being destroyed by the flames.
Rescuers stress that a fire can break out at any time, and neglecting basic safety rules can lead to serious consequences.
Specialists advise citizens to follow the key fire safety requirements:
- do not leave electrical appliances switched on and unattended;
- ensure the electrical wiring and heating appliances are in good working order;
- do not overload sockets;
- be careful with open flames;
- keep matches and lighters out of children's reach.
Rescuers remind the public that it is easier to prevent a fire than to deal with its consequences, and urge everyone to take care of themselves and their loved ones.
