Over the past 24 hours in the Lviv region, firefighters were called out nine times to tackle fires. Thanks to their swift actions, they managed to prevent the flames from destroying two buildings and a car.
Rescuers are urging residents of the region to follow fire safety rules: regularly check the condition of electrical wiring and appliances, avoid overloading sockets and never leave open flames unattended.
They emphasise that it is easier to prevent fires than to deal with their consequences. In the event of a fire breaking out, you should immediately call 101.
