
The search for missing 63-year-old Vasyl Biletskyi, who had been sought by law enforcement officers of the Sheptytskyi district, has been concluded. Police reported that the man was found with no signs of life.
Earlier, law enforcement officers stated that on the morning of 14 July Vasyl Biletskyi left his home and did not return. Residents of the district had been alerted to look out for him.
According to the police, the man was of slender build, about 160 cm tall, walked with a limp on his right leg and had cognitive impairments. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a green sports jacket, a grey cap, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
The Lviv region police had previously asked members of the public to report any information that could help establish the whereabouts of Vasyl Biletskyi to the 102 emergency line or to the nearest police station.
Law enforcement officers expressed their condolences to the man’s relatives.
