Near the village of Kulykiv in the Sheptytskyi district of the Lviv region, on 11 September a police officer discovered the body of 75-year-old Halyna Vasylivna Sadovska in a ditch, showing no signs of life. No signs of violent death were recorded on the woman’s body; the final cause of death is being established.
The resident of the village of Kulykiv, Halyna Sadovska, born in 1951, was declared missing on 9 September. It is known that on the morning of 7 September she left home and did not return.
A criminal investigation was opened under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, with the note “missing person”.
The search involved officers of Police Station No. 1 of the Sheptytskyi District Police Department, rescuers from the State Emergency Service and volunteers from among local residents. One of the district’s agricultural companies provided a drone for the operation, which expanded the possibilities of the search effort.
