The traffic accident occurred on July 22 at 8:40 a.m. on the “Western bypass of Lviv” highway within the village of Kholodnovidka
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the back wheel of the Opel Frontera car driven by a 39-year-old resident of Horodok came off while driving and hit a passer-by – a 41-year-old man from Lviv. As a result of the incident, a man with a broken foot was taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, the investigators of the police department #3 of the Lviv district police department #2 opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
