At the “Krakovets-Korchowa” checkpoint, during an inspection of a bus on the “Kherson-Herne” route, which was leaving Ukraine, customs officers discovered a large batch of cigarettes. During the bus inspection, customs officers found hidden 250 packs of tobacco products of various brands. They discovered
- 130 packs of “LM”
- 20 packs of “Marlboro gold”
- 100 packs of “Parliament”
These cigarettes were concealed in a specially made compartment under the bus floor. To access the hiding place, customs officials removed the sound insulation of the technical section and dismantled a metal cover. In accordance with part 1 of article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, a report was filed against the bus driver for customs rules violations. The approximate value of the seized goods is 34,000 UAH.
