At the Rava-Ruska border crossing point, officers of the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment detected a Mitsubishi car that was on an international wanted list as stolen in the United Kingdom.
During the inspection of the documents for the vehicle, manufactured in 2014, the Interpol database was triggered. According to information from this database, since 2025 the car has been listed among stolen vehicles and has been sought by law enforcement agencies in the United Kingdom.
The car was driven by a 33-year-old resident of Ternopil region, who was entering Ukraine. The border guards informed the Interpol National Central Bureau in Kyiv, where it was confirmed that this vehicle is indeed registered as stolen.
After completing the necessary paperwork, the detected vehicle was handed over to officers of the National Police for further checks and procedural action.
