The traffic accident occurred on August 23, around 08:00, in the village of Skhidnytsia, Drohobytsky district.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between the truck “MAN” driven by a 63-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Sambir region and the car “ZAZ 110308” driven by a 34-year-old resident of Truskavets.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the car was injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, investigators of the Drohobytsk District Police Department opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
