The traffic accident happened on November 13 at 3:50 p.m. on the highway between the village of Kolbayevichi and the town of Rudky, Sambir district.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the VAZ-2109 car, a 62-year-old local resident, failed to control the car – the car went into a ditch and overturned. The driver died at the scene from his injuries.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
