The traffic accident occurred on September 20, around 2:40 p.m., on the highway “Kyiv-Chop” in the village of Duliby, Stryi district
As previously determined by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Renault Logan, a 39-year-old resident of Vinnytsia, collided with a BMW X3 driven by a 35-year-old resident of Donetsk, after which the BMW X3 collided with a Volkswagen Amarok, which managed by a 61-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the drivers of “BMW X3” and “Volkswagen Amarok” received injuries and were taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, investigators of the territorial division of the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
