A tragedy occurred today in the family of rescuers in the Sumy region. This was reported by LVIVDSNS. An enemy FPV drone hit the vehicle in which Pavlo Kolisnyk, a firefighter-rescuer of the 33rd state fire-rescue post of the 1st state fire-rescue unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region, was traveling.
Pavlo was returning from duty when a Russian drone struck his car. He was on his way home after serving almost his entire life since 1997. This incident is another heavy loss for the rescuers of the Sumy region and the entire large family of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The Russians have taken the life of another father, son, loyal friend, and reliable colleague. We all share the pain of loss with the family and loved ones. Eternal memory and honor to the Hero without a weapon.
