On the Kyiv–Chop highway near the village of Khorosno in Lviv district, two cars collided, resulting in the death of one of the drivers and injuries to two other people.
According to reports, the road traffic accident occurred on 26 June at 21:40. On the stretch of road near Khorosno, a Hyundai Tucson and an Audi 100 collided.
The driver of the Audi 100 died at the scene. The driver and a female passenger of the Hyundai Tucson sustained injuries and were taken to medical facilities in Lviv.
Rescuers used hydraulic equipment to free the body of the deceased Audi 100 driver and the injured Hyundai Tucson passenger, after which they disconnected the batteries in both vehicles.
Law enforcement agencies are establishing the circumstances of this road traffic accident.
