
Mountain rescuers in the Lviv region assisted an injured tourist at the Kamyanka waterfall near the village of Kamyanka in the Stryi district and transported him to medics. The information was released by the rescue service.
The report of the incident was received on 23 August at 17:02. During a hike, a man born in 1989 injured his leg and required medical assistance.
Specialists from the Slavske mountain search and rescue group headed to the scene. They provided the casualty with first aid, in particular applying a medical splint to the injured leg.
After this, using a quad bike, the man was transported to the town of Skole, where he was handed over to emergency medical staff for further examination and treatment.
