51-year-old resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region injured at railway station in Khodoriv

A 51-year-old resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region sustained injuries at the railway station in the town of Khodoriv in Lviv region. Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.

According to reports, at 05:12 on 20 June, the emergency hotline 102 received a call from paramedics about an injured man at the station in Khodoriv. A police patrol was dispatched to the scene; officers escorted the victim and ensured his hospitalisation in a medical facility for emergency care.

The man, who has been a person with a disability since childhood, suffered bodily injuries, the nature of which is not specified in the report. Relatives of the victim who arrived at the hospital refused to file a statement in Lviv region, noting that they would contact law enforcement agencies at their place of residence.

A corresponding report has now been registered at Police Station No. 4 (Rohatyn) of the Ivano-Frankivsk region police. Police officers in Lviv region, together with colleagues from the neighbouring region, are reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out the necessary measures to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Once the review of the incident is completed, a final legal classification will be provided.
