In Zabolottia, Kovel District, violence was used against a 60-year-old local resident during mobilisation activities. According to the investigation, on 20 March 2026, the head of a group from one of the district’s TCC and SP departments, along with two other servicemen, used physical force against the man, despite the absence of legal grounds for his conscription due to age.
The servicemen forced the man to the ground, twisted his arm behind his back, resulting in a fracture with displacement. One of them sprayed pepper spray in the victim’s face, causing chemical burns to his eyes. Additionally, his vehicle was damaged — the car’s tyres were punctured.
