On Kulisha Street an electric scooter hit a pedestrian and left the scene of the accident

On Kulisha Street, the rider of an electric scooter hit a 69-year-old female pedestrian and left the scene of the road traffic accident. The woman later went to a medical facility, and the doctors reported the injury via the 102 hotline.

According to the police, the pedestrian sustained minor bodily injuries, after which the case materials were handed over to the unit that deals with road traffic accidents. Officers from the unit for tracing offenders and processing road traffic accident materials identified the 28-year-old electric scooter rider.

A report was drawn up against the scooter rider for leaving the scene of a road traffic accident, and a fixed penalty notice was issued for failing to comply with road markings. The pedestrian was issued with a fixed penalty notice for crossing the road at an undesignated place.
