
At night on Kulparkivska Street in Lviv, patrol officers stopped a Skoda Octavia that was driving with blue and red flashing lights switched on.
The incident occurred today at around 4am. The patrol officers noticed the car in the rear-view mirror and stopped it for inspection.
The vehicle was being driven by a 20-year-old driver. When checking the documents, it emerged that the man had been disqualified from driving for six years.
The offender was issued with a report under Article 122-5 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences for the unlawful use of flashing lights, as well as a report for driving a vehicle while disqualified. After this, he was taken to the police station to establish all the circumstances.
The man faces liability under Article 382 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for failure to comply with a court decision.
