According to police, the victim and three comrades were playing with flammable substances in an abandoned building, which resulted in a fire. Three of the comrades escaped and remained unharmed, and the fourth died.
On May 15, at 1:40 p.m., hotline 102 received a message from the SES dispatcher that a fire had broken out in an abandoned building on the territory of Torpedo Stadium on Zolotiya Street in Lviv. life.
The investigative and operative group of the police department №1 of the Lviv district police department №1 worked at the scene. Police have identified the deceased – a 13-year-old resident of Lviv. It was also previously established that the boy and three friends were playing with flammable substances, which resulted in a fire. Three of the comrades escaped and remained unharmed, and a fourth died in the building.
In fact, investigators of the territorial police department opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 270 (Violation of the requirements of fire or man-made safety established by law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
A pre-trial investigation is underway, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
