
Accident in Prylbichi: Motorcycle Injures Pedestrian
In the Lviv region, a pedestrian was injured in a motorcycle collision – police are determining the circumstances of the event.
Incident Details
The road traffic accident occurred on March 27, around 19:50, in the village of Prylbichi, Yavoriv district.
Preliminarily, law enforcement officers established that the motorcycle Lifan, operated by a 19-year-old resident of Yavoriv district, hit a pedestrian, a 36-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the pedestrian sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized in the ICU.
Investigation and Legal Consequences
Following the fact, investigators of the Yavoriv district police department initiated a criminal proceeding under part 1 of article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the article’s sanction is up to three years of restricted freedom, with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
