Prosecutors of the Zolochiv District Prosecutor’s Office continue the initiative to use the seized vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, the court granted the prosecutors’ motion to transfer the seized property to the state.
It is a truck with a refrigeration van. Its value is almost UAH 5 million. It was confiscated during the pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings over forgery of official documents (Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It has been preliminarily established that a truck belonging to a legal entity of the Republic of Belarus was located on the territory of a Lviv region enterprise without licence plates and with a violation of the terms of permitted stay. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
The truck will be used by the military to improve the mobility of units and ensure that they perform combat missions, which will help them fight the enemy more effectively and bring our victory closer.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Zolochiv District Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv Region Main Department of the National Police, with the operational support provided by the Security Service of Ukraine in Lviv Region.
