In the Zolochiv District, in the village of Stanislavchyk, a road traffic accident occurred involving a Spark motorcycle, ridden by a 17-year-old local resident, and a Renault Trafic minibus driven by a 62-year-old woman. The accident happened on 17 May at approximately 16:00.
As a result of the collision, the underage motorcyclist sustained bodily injuries and was taken to hospital. In connection with this incident, investigators from the police department No.1 of the Zolochiv District Police Department have initiated a criminal case under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The police continue to ascertain the circumstances of the incident. The maximum penalty under this article is up to three years’ restriction of liberty, along with disqualification from driving vehicles.
