A woman who organized the illegal transportation of a conscript across the state border for $6,000 will be tried in Zolochiv Oblast

The prosecutors of the Zolochiv district prosecutor’s office of the Lviv region sent an indictment to the court against a 39-year-old woman on the fact of illegally transporting people across the state border of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that the resident of Chervonograd during the martial law contributed to the illegal crossing of persons across the state border of Ukraine.

For a monetary reward, she promised the conscript to produce a package of fictitious documents. On their basis, information about the person was entered into the “Path” system as a potential volunteer. This gave him the right to leave Ukraine under martial law.

She valued her services at $6,000.

On the way to the border, the woman was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine after she receives the funds.

At the request of the prosecutors, a seizure was imposed on the property of the accused in the total amount of more than 4.3 million hryvnias.

The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Zolochiv district police department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region.

Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
