SBU employees in cooperation with the SBU exposed a criminal group among the officials of the Sambir Interdistrict Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEK) and the Turkiv City Hospital. They demanded a bribe from a serviceman to establish the second group of disability for his father, which would allow him to complete his service.
The head of the Sambirsk MSEK, the heads of the medical advisory commission of the Turkiv city hospital promised to draw up the relevant documents for $3.2 thousand.
The perpetrators received the money in three installments. During the transfer of the last sum, the law enforcement officers arrested the deputy head of the medical advisory commission “red handed” in the city of Turka.
During the detention, the official tried to get rid of money – eat $100. However, the law enforcement officers prevented this, and the funds were seized. Other members of the criminal group were also detained.
During searches of the place of work and residences of the persons involved, money and documents were seized.
