The National Police of Ukraine has exposed 23 individuals who earned nearly 5.1 million UAH through draft evasion schemes.
Among those detained are military personnel, medical professionals, and civilians. They organized fictitious employment in critical infrastructure enterprises, placement in rear unit services, allocation of disability group, and care arrangements for an incapacitated person. They also provided false diagnoses to discharge from service, remove from search lists, and cross the border outside official checkpoints. These services ranged from 20,000 UAH to 55,000 USD.
Since the beginning of 2026, operatives from the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police, together with law enforcement colleagues, have dismantled 13 criminal schemes. All detainees have been charged.
