
Thanks to the attentiveness of a concerned driver, patrol officers timely identified a driver showing signs of intoxication.
Recently in the evening, patrol officers received a report from a concerned driver. The report mentioned that the truck driver was likely intoxicated as he was violating traffic rules. The patrol officers immediately responded and began processing the information. On Horodotska Street, inspectors stopped a vehicle that matched the description.
During communication with the 60-year-old driver, they discovered obvious signs of alcohol intoxication. The driver refused to undergo the test. The patrol officers issued a report under part 1 of article 130 “Driving a Vehicle While Intoxicated” of the Administrative Offenses Code. The driver was removed from control, and the employer was notified of the situation, who then picked up the vehicle from the scene.
