A traffic accident occurred on June 26 at 3:40 pm on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Zubra, Lviv district
According to law enforcement officers, the driver of a ZAZ Sense car, a 28-year-old resident of the district, collided with a Volkswagen minibus driven by a 41-year-old resident of Lviv Region who was driving in front. After the collision, Volkswagen collided with a Ford car driven by a 29-year-old Lviv resident.
As a result of the collision, the driver of ZAZ, as well as the driver and a 39-year-old passenger of the minibus were injured and taken to hospital.
It was also established that the driver of the “Sense” was driving under the influence of alcohol.
In fact, investigators of the police department №3 of the Lviv District Police Department №2 opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 286-1 (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of transport by persons driving while intoxicated) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to three years with deprivation of the right to drive for a period of three to five years.
A pre-trial investigation is underway, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
