A traffic accident occurred in the Lviv region, resulting in injuries to two minors.
The accident took place on July 23, around 12:10 PM in the village of Shklo, Yavoriv district. According to preliminary data, “the driver of a Loncin motorcycle, a 16-year-old resident of the district, lost control and fell”, as reported by law enforcement officers. As a result, the driver and his passenger, a 15-year-old resident of the Yavoriv district, sustained bodily injuries and were hospitalized.
The investigators of the Yavoriv District Police Department have opened a criminal case under part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, concerning “violation of traffic safety rules”. The maximum penalty under this article includes a restriction of freedom for up to three years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.
Law enforcement officers continue to establish the circumstances of the incident.
