A fatal accident occurred on the road near Ivanivtsi village in Stryi district involving a 17-year-old driver without documents.
According to the investigation, a youth from Zhydachiv lost control while overtaking two cars. As a result, the Mercedes crashed into a guardrail and collided with the car ahead. **A 15-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man were killed**. Three other passengers were injured and hospitalized.
\”This tragedy is a reminder of the importance of following traffic rules,\” said the procedural supervisor of the case.
The driver has been detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine and has been notified of the suspicion under part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
A preventive measure in the form of detention is being chosen, and the investigation is ongoing.
