Yesterday, around 10 pm, patrol policemen received a report of an accident on Pivnichna Street. The driver, who was driving a Toyota RAV4, lost control and drove into a tree.
During the conversation with the 40-year-old driver, the inspectors detected signs of alcohol intoxication. She agreed to take a test using a Drager device. The result was 2.44 ppm.
The patrol policemen drew up two reports against the offender under Article 124 (Violation of traffic rules that led to an accident) and Part 1 of Article 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) of the Administrative Code.
Let this be an example for others of what not to do. Remember, driving and alcohol are incompatible!
