An intoxicated driver without a license was driving in the opposite lane.
The driver of an Audi A4, during curfew hours, drove in the opposite lane on a one-way street on Horodotska Street directly towards the patrol officers.
The police stopped the violator’s car. A passenger came out to them and tried to convince them that he was the one driving. Moreover, he pretended not to understand the reason for the stop.
He later admitted that he intended to mislead the patrol officers. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old driver had never received a driver’s license. He showed signs of alcohol intoxication. In a medical facility, a Drager device test showed a result of 1.66 per mille.
The violator received a combined ruling for driving in the opposite lane and lacking the necessary documents to operate a vehicle. Additionally, a protocol was drawn up against him for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
