On Polyova Street, patrol officers stopped a driver for traffic violations. While speaking with him, the police noticed signs of alcohol intoxication.
The driver agreed to undergo testing, admitting to having consumed alcohol. The 42-year-old man attempted to avoid responsibility by offering the police officers 800 US dollars as an illicit benefit. Despite repeated warnings, he insisted on his offer.
Testing with a Drager device showed a blood alcohol concentration of 1.86‰. The police completed all necessary administrative documents and summoned an investigative team. The driver now faces liability under Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
