Around 12:10 a.m. on July 18, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on Pylypa Orlyka Street in Lviv involving a private vehicle.
According to witnesses, the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs when he lost control, collided with a streetlight pole and a public transport stop, and then fled the scene.
Locals who rushed outside after hearing a loud crash reported seeing an intoxicated man leaving the car and heading toward a nearby park. Preliminary reports indicate that the vehicle is registered to a woman residing in a private house on Instrumentalna Street. It is believed that her husband was driving at the time of the incident.
Law enforcement is currently investigating the circumstances of the crash. Police officers and municipal services worked at the scene to deal with the aftermath. No injuries have been reported so far.
