In Lviv, on Chervonoyi Kalyny Avenue, a road traffic accident occurred, resulting in injuries to an 80-year-old man. The police are appealing to the public for assistance in establishing the circumstances of the incident.
The event took place on 20 April at around 19:00. According to preliminary data, the driver of an Opel Vivaro, a 42-year-old Lviv resident, struck a man who was moving in a wheelchair. The victim sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalised.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the traffic accident under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for up to three years of restricted freedom with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
